My most meaningful photo of the 2017

Northern KwaZulu Natal Drakensberg.

Behind every photo taken of people there is a story, in my case a best seller.

My most meaningful photo of 2017. This photo was taken with an iPhone 7 on the 24th of December 2017 during a hike in the Drakensberg mountains of South Africa. There’s my son, niece, mother, sister and me.

My father had passed away a week earlier so my son and myself flew from home Australia to South Africa where my Dad lived so that we could attend the memorial service and support my mother.

Not only was the company, scenery and weather great, but when I look at the photo it reminds me of how my sister, by God’s help, sat by my father and ensured that he excepted Jesus as his saviour at his crucial last hours, now we don’t need to mourn Dad as we will see him in Heaven soon.

“But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope.” 1Thessalonians 4:13

For this one, I used panoramic photo setting on my iPhone 7.
