After a long week of work when all your energy is sapped out of you, you come to the realisation, I have to do gym! Being motivated to workout when your energy is low is one of the hardest things you can do with regards to fitness goals. The key to overcome this obstacle is to start the momentum.

Our mind sets have become the biggest culprit to limiting our performance. The best way to overcome this is to get started! Nike was right, Just Do It! There are some times, however, even when you warm up and listen to high energy music your energy levels are still drained. This could be the result of something that influences your mental state, your spiritual state. Wether it be depression or anxiety place all your worries in God’s mighty hand. Rely on Him for strength, and you will go further than you can ever think to go. This is similarly said in Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
