Changing your gym program

After two months of intensive training my maximum lifting capacity has hit a plateau. No matter how hard I try, it is almost impossible for me to reach my 10 – 12 rep goal. with my current weights. If you have hit a plateau in your weight training progress or you are just plain tired of the same workout routine, then it is time to change things up. Changing your workout routine can provide many benefits and improve your muscular strength.

Creating a change in your workout schedule does not only prevent boredom but trains your muscles differently. Arnold Lee, MD, comments on the benefits of changing an exercise routine:

It’s the key to stimulating different muscle groups and preventing boredom.

Changing your program is able to greatly benefit your mental health, helping you to refocus and re-challenge your mind and body for something new.

As well as refreshing your mind by changing your training schedule, refresh your spirit by reading the word of God who will shower favour abundantly in your life, as said in Psalm 68:9 NIV:

You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance.
