Keep on keeping on.

It’s difficult sticking to your normal training regime during this holiday, my favourite time of the year; Christmas, as it brings us much joy, remembering Jesus came to earth. It was the day God decided to visit us!

Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.

Matthew 1:23

If this is a very busy time of the year for you: arranging, planning and preparing for Christmas time, you’re probably not doing well with your training plan. However, before giving up altogether, why not gear up your training program into a higher level. Try some high intensity, low volume, workouts. Whatever type of training you do, weight training, running or walking, just go heavier, faster or harder for half of your normal workout time.

Doing this will will keep you sane and healthy during the festive season, giving you more time to spend with God and then family, you might be surprised with your training results. God tells us in the Bible to fast and pray, not only fasting in food but could also be gym, in Luke 18:6-8

6 And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and be with you.
