I’m going for my annual cancer treatment tomorrow, so now is a good time to share some of my health tips that I have picked up along the narrow dangerous cancer pathway.
- Get enough sleep. I was working shifts, studying engineering, bringing up boys, and training extremely intensely in the gym. Sometimes two hours a day of sleep was regarded as good rest. Sleeping is time for your body to work it’s miracles by healing and preventing diseases. Please read here about how sleep heals the body.
- Don’t be greedy. I was earning a lot of money doing shiftwork, but my health was deteriorating. I could’ve easily gone back to doing normal dayshift work, but I was just getting too much money doing shift work, which nearly cost me my life. For the love of money is the root of all evil, and evil would like to kill and destroy. No need to work longer today, go home and enjoy the simple things in life, like reading this blog and sending me a payment🤣. At least I’m laughing now.
- Eat healthy nutritious foods. You are what you eat! Are you a takeaway, dirty, dead bin burger? Did you want french fries with that? Read here for healthy eating tips. When I got cancer I wasn’t eating well. As I said previously, I was working shifts which left me no time to plan my meals. The key to successful healthy eating is planning. Plan your meals, pack your meals, either the night before or in the morning. Especially when working shifts if you have to.
- Include daily prayer and bible reading into your schedule. Healthy bodies are complimented by healthy souls.
