Demon possessed, inflicted by the Devil, or mental.

When I first came to Toowoomba, Australia, I noticed many mentally disabled people amongst the community, always with their carers wondering around the shopping centres. These humans sometimes seem scary, especially for kids.

BASHET!
BASHET!

Just today, I wanted go somewhere peaceful, to get away and have a cup of coffee with the Holy Spirit in a cafe, but in walked three ladies, one clearly mentally disabled, “BASHET!” Or something she kept yelling out. I wondered why these people are the way they are, I mean, why did God allow this, “are these people possessed by some evil spirit?” I asked God. “Can I walk over and drive that Demon out of them in the name of Jesus so that they can live free lives, lives in abundance?” It’s just not right they way they are. God has heard these questions before, His disciples asked the same question about a blind man. John 9 “Why is this man blind?” they asked Jesus. “Did he or his parents sin?” “None of them sinned, but he is blind so that God can be glorified.” Replied Jesus.

It is only through faith and the power of Jesus that I could help my friend Bashet. I pray and have faith that God will heal these people in what ever way. Mentally disabled people are all over the world, but what about the many spiritually disabled people? The slaves to the devil, living without Jesus inside of them, inflicting themselves and others with pain. This I can help with, by telling them about the good news:

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,” Luke 4:18

Let us all live for God’s glory.
